CGC provided engineering design and materials know
how and was responsible for the integration a technical
demonstrator for UK Defence COntractor QinnetiQ for
a hypersonic ram jet.
The technical demonstrator was directed at producing Mach 7 flight for over 300miles
Use of innovative materials; Carbon SiC structure, Zirocnia Oxide insulation and titanium fuel system components, together with specially developed micro-actuators produce a design which could meet the clients reuirements,
CGC went on to produce combustion test components and a fully integrated demonstrator.
